Automated Plate Handling

Chemagen

The separation of nucleic acids is achieved through their capturing by highly specific binding M-PVA Magnetic Beads that are thereafter attracted to metal rods, magnetised by an electromagnet. While these magnetised rods transfer the DNA bound to the particles through the different process solutions, the rod rotation, switched on after deactivation of the electromagnet, leads to efficient and homogenious resuspension of the particles during the preparation steps. This results in high yield purity DNA/RNA and success in the following downstream applications.

Sciclone® G3 NGSx Workstation

The Sciclone® G3 NGSx workstation is the high-throughput solution for library prep, sequence capture, and normalization. The system makes it possible to prep samples for up to 480 libraries or 192 exome captures per week, with the flexibility to handle up to 96 samples per run. Plus, the Sciclone G3 NGSx Workstation is a fully enclosed system, so cross-contamination is kept to a minimum.

Nucleic Acid Isolation

PerkinElmer’s Chemagic Technology is a key player in the field of automated nucleic acid isolation with a vast experience in the fields of Human Genetics, HLA Typing, Blood Banking and Pathogen Detection.

The purification of genomic DNA, RNA, or viral DNA/RNA is facilitated through proprietary M-PVA Magnetic Bead technology in combination with high performance instrument — the chemagic Magnetic Separation Module I, chemagic MSM I. Due to its modular setup, the chemagic MSM I is one of the most flexible nucleic acids extraction systems on the market, which enables high throughput as well as large volume applications. With the chemagic Prepito-D, we offer a benchtop walk-away instrument relying upon the proven separation technology integrated in the chemagic MSM I.
